OLPCs at Amazon
Last year I had the pleasure of having an OLPC in my home over the holidays, and showed it around to my friends and relatives, who were truly impressed. One told me that the OLPC is built on the technology of tomorrow. Tomorrow is arriving faster than we imagined.
The machine itself isn't made for adults, but I enjoyed playing with it. It would make a super first computer gift to a young child in your family. All children are like sponges in that they willingly explore and learn what they encounter. Children in developing countries are no different, and if an OLPC opens the door to the world, who knows how far the child will go?
This deal at Amazon is a good one.
