Yes! Wheres our fix?

I only discovered this site a short while ago and already I find myself checking it at least 5 times daily just to see if theres an update!

Youre doing such a great job, Ive introduced your site to several of my co workers and they are as hooked as I am.

You should have a TV show! In the UK we have a tech show called "Click" broadcast by the BBC, that show isnt presented even half as well as yours.

All the best. - PLEASE GIVE US ANOTHER SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Goblin.

re: Click on BBC

Hello Goblin,

Youre doing such a great job, Ive introduced your site to several of my co workers and they are as hooked as I am.

You should have a TV show! In the UK we have a tech show called "Click" broadcast by the BBC, that show isnt presented even half as well as yours.

Hey, I'd love a TV show, but until that comes along, you'll have to be happy with my rather rough show here on wftlbytes.com. Thanks for telling your friends about the show. By all means, keep spreading the word. The more viewers, the more likely I'll keep this going [ insert appropriate smiley here ]

I held off on this reply until I'd had a chance to watch an episode of "Click". It's a great compliment to be compared to a BBC production and told you do better (in a basement with a Sony Handycam, and a notebook running Linux). Click does offer much broader coverage -- and they have a budget, something I'm missing -- but you would think they could offer larger, higher quality videos for viewing.

Thanks again for the feedback.

re: Your fix

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am thrilled that you are enjoying the bytes.

WFTL Bytes! will return next week. My occasiodaily updates were interrupted for family health reasons this week - more specifically, my son had an operation this week (things are okay) and this took precedence. I assure you. WFTL Bytes! will return. Stay tuned.

Marcel, Best of luck for your

Marcel,
Best of luck for your son's recovery. Of course family is most important these days, and I am relieved to hear that the operation went well.

Re: re: Your fix

I am pleased to hear that everything is ok with your son, and it goes without saying that the blog takes second place. We find ourselves awaiting a scan of our young'un on Nov 19 so our thoughts are with you.

God bless to you and your family.

Kind regards
Goblin.

Going through withdrawal symptons ...

It's only been a few days - but already I feel the shakes coming on ... where's my occassiodaily fix ???

Seriously, though - great job Marcel, I enjoy your shows. I know there is an upcoming Linux show in TO - do you know if any thing of the sort may be planned for Montreal?
